Friends in the North
Posted in Our News.
Remember our polar explorer friend Antony?
Last we heard he was drinking tea with Inuits in the Arctic Circle.
Well, since then he's been rather busy - trekking to the North Pole. As you can imagine, it was nice to hear from him, and he sent us this message:
"Hello! I am back again from a very successful North Pole Expedition. As promised a flag was taken out and a picture taken of your logo at the actual North Pole, which was achieved after 550 miles (thereabouts) over 51 days, arriving on Earth Day on the 22nd April. We also managed to collect 20 science samples for the University of Plymouth. Thank you ever so much for your support in this expedition."
If you'd like to read more about the project just visit Antony's own website as he blogged back every day from the ice.
